Lingaa movie Hero Super Star RajiniKanth, heriones Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha. It was directed by K.S.Ravikumar. Rajini played a dual role in this film. A. R. Rahman was music director for this film While Cinematography was handled by R. Rathnavelu. The Lingaa movie were produced by Pon Kumaran. Lingaa movie to release in 3 Languages which includes telugu and hindi and as usually Tamil. All the 3 languages tamil, telugu & hindi versions are slated to release on 12th Dec, 2014 on the occasion of hero Super star Birthday. Many of the Thalaiva fans started to call it as Lingaa day Decemeber 12, 2014.

As moving ahead from several issue’s it has set to release on dec 12th 2014. Recent statement was given by Rocline Entertainments & Eros International- ” That they will abide by the court order of madras high court of madurai bench.As the movie going to release as per schedule We assure the disturbutors, Exhibitors, media and superstar fans to enjoy the lingaa movie with same excitement on dec 12 2014.”

As revealed earlier Lingaa movie is all about building a dam in a small region, Rajini played dual role in this film, an engineer Raja who wants to build a dam in a region to solve the peoples problems and gets murdered, most people think that it is a casula death since he is an Iconoclast, since due to his death Temple will remain closed and only engineer’s grandson can re open that temple. After years, Anushka who belongs to the village finds Lingaa, grandson of engineer and a thief, she will bring him to the village and he plans to rob the temple in that region, in the mean time he learns about problems faced by people in that area and then decides to finish the Dam work, how he does that is the rest of the plot. The lingaa movie rocks.
